About Me

I live here, I work here, I’ve raised children here, I love it here! But I haven’t always lived in the Bay Area. My life began in a suburb of Detroit, MI. Surrounded by family, industry and the Great Lakes, my restless nature led me west when I was 18. When my fiance’ (now husband of 25 years) informed me that he had a job in San Jose I truly thought we were headed for Mexico! I had NO idea where San Jose was, and when people told me it was near San Francisco, I still had no idea! When we arrived in San Jose, my car died and I became acquainted with our public transit system—and no friends or family in this place. What an adventure! I’ve suffered the sticker-shock of buying my first home, sold a home in a tough market, I’ve had investment property, built a specification house and sold it and today I’m here to help you! My three children have gone to school in the Oak Grove School district, and eventually attended High School in Morgan Hill at our new Ann Sobrato High School. Why do I tell you this?
